Compensation : $25.58 Per Hour

The Position Proposition :

We have immediate openings for Utility Construction Laborers in Fort Collins, CO area. This position requires to perform general laborer duties to support underground utility construction within Q3C, Gas Operations.

• Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid driver's license, CDL A is highly preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, willing, and able to perform physically demanding work in the elements.

Some of the physical demands are :

• Performs general construction laborer work under the direction of a Foreman / Supervisor for underground / drill operations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily and continual basis.
• Hand dig holes and trenches with a shovel and other hand tools as required.
• Ability to drive on a stop and start basis daily and continually. Lifting, placing of materials, standing, walking, turning, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, crouching, speaking and hearing are required continuously.
• Close vision is required for some functions and distance and peripheral vision is required for safety.
• Willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety regulations.

Educational & Minimum Requirements :

• High School diploma or GED is highly preferred.
• Prior construction knowledge preferred.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid driver's license
• Close vision is required for some functions and distance and peripheral vision is required for safety.
• Willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety regulations.
• Previous construction experience in any of the following areas : natural gas distribution / pipeline, electric, transmission, telecommunications, water, sewer, landscaping, concrete / asphalt, or agricultural.
• Able to work outside in various weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold temperatures.
• Must possess the physical dexterity to be able to lift a minimum of 50 LBS and safely perform other physical work.
• Able to travel on short-term basis.
• Primoris Gas Operations is a drug free environment. All positions require participation in federally compliant PHMSA or FMSCA drug and alcohol testing programs. This includes both pre-employment and ongoing random testing.
