Overview

The Process Laborer may be assigned to various process or cleaning positions within the Process Department. This role involves continuous heavy labor activities, including repetitive hand, arm, and body movements, and may require working at any station or location in the department.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Perform functions necessary to process sugar.
• Work around hot liquors, water, pumps, and pipes; maintain log books.
• Operate cherry pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

Required Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work rotating shifts including day, swing, and graveyard shifts on a bi-weekly basis; overtime may be required daily or weekly.
• Stand and walk for 6-8+ hours daily; lift up to 50 pounds; grasp, push, and pull objects.
• Wear PPE such as safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and a hard hat.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Maintain a neat and clean workplace.
• Work under supervisor direction.

Hourly Pay Rate: $24.31/hour
