AllTek Staffing & Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a reliable Machine Shop Laborer in the Plum/Penn Hills area of Pittsburgh to handle parts or hardware washing and general shop duties.

The shift runs 7am–3pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available but rarely mandated. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with raises to $17–$18 per hour after the contract period. The job requires lifting up to 45 lbs, cleaning work areas, and moving baskets and parts to the wash area.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing or general labor position preferred.
• Machine shop exposure a huge plus but not required.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, and move up to 45lbs regularly.
• Willingness to learn new skills and help out in various areas as needed (helps progress into other roles with increased rates of pay).
• Good attention to details to spot check parts as they come out of the wash machine.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of warehouse and shop areas: sweeping, wiping down equipment, emptying trash and recycling.
• Washing parts – loading baskets of parts onto a conveyor belt; the machine handles the washing portion.
• Must be able to lift around 45lbs on a regular basis as baskets become heavier when filled.
• Move products using push carts throughout the shop area to bring to the washing department.

Job Details

Hours: 7am to 3pm - Daylight shift.
Schedule: Monday to Friday. OT is available but rarely mandated.
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr – raise to $17–$18/hr after contract period with TOPS.
