The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands Division, is recruiting to fill two Full Time Seasonal (12 Weeks) Laborer I positions at Popham Beach State Park in Maine.

Job Description

This role involves maintenance and personal services work, providing services to park visitors at a state park or day use area. Responsibilities may include directing and overseeing activities of a small crew of maintenance and operations personnel. Work is performed under general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Additional Information
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older (Lifeguards must be 16 or older)
  • Must be U.S. Citizens or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Housing is provided in certain regions; generally not available at other parks.
  • Most positions require 40 hours/week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Uniforms are provided by the agency.
