The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands Division, is recruiting to fill two Full Time Seasonal (12 Weeks) Laborer I position, located at Popham Beach State Park in the Southern Region of Maine.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: This position involves maintenance and personal services work to assist park visitors at a state park or day use area. Responsibilities may include supervising a small crew of maintenance and operations staff. Work is performed under general supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION:

• Applicants must be 18 or older (Lifeguards must be 16+)
• Must be U.S. Citizens or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Housing provided at Penobscot River Corridor and Allagash Wilderness Waterway.
• Housing not available at other parks.
• Work schedule typically 40 hours/week, including weekends and some holidays.
• Uniforms are provided.
