Holder Construction is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer for our project located in Portland.

The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment. They should have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, remain flexible, and meet tight deadlines.

Laborer responsibilities include loading/unloading deliveries, handling/moving materials, cleaning and preparing workspaces, digging, assisting safety professionals and carpenters, and various other jobsite operations.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of construction experience, with an understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge. They should demonstrate ownership of tasks, professionalism, and critical thinking skills.

Requirements include being agile and mobile, alert, able to stand or walk for long periods, manipulate objects with hands and fingers, climb ladders and scaffolds, work on uneven surfaces and heights, read and write, and see and hear well (naturally or with correction). Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. 75% of the time.

Candidates must work in an OSHA-compliant safety environment, outdoors, and be available for overtime and weekend hours. Punctuality is essential.
