Job summary

Holder Construction in Wilmer, TX is hiring a Laborer to join our Operations team on a live project. This full-time position supports safety, site housekeeping, and carpentry tasks as needed.

You will assist the safety team, move and load materials, and help carpenters with various jobs while upholding OSHA guidelines and workplace standards. Strong reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to field supervision.
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Read/write skills are required.
• Lift 50–100 lbs for about 75% of the time.

About The Role

We are looking for a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Wilmer, TX. This is a full‑time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
• Assisting safety team.
• Handling and moving jobsite materials.
• Assisting carpenters with any projects.
• Help with loading and unloading of deliveries.

Qualifications

Required:

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
