Job summary

Progress Rail in East Chicago, IN is seeking a versatile shop worker to remove bearings from second hand sets, record wheel set size and type on QA forms, and perform light cleaning to prep for wheel qualification.

You will palletize and disposition using a forklift, move material within the shop, and cross-train across stations; forklift training is provided on site and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced individual willing to train in several areas of the shop as needed.
• Willing to cross-train at other stations.
• Forklift certified a plus; on-site training provided.
