SALARY RANGE: $17.00 - $20.00

Company Overview: Illini FS is headquartered in Urbana, Illinois, with branches in five eastern Illinois counties. The cooperative employs about 200 people and serves approximately 6,000 customers. It operates in agronomy, energy, tires, and retail sectors. Illini FS is part of the GROWMARK System, serving over 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY: Assist in daily operational duties at the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist with operations at the retail supply location.
2. Follow maintenance schedules for facilities and equipment.
3. Assist with inventory management and product distribution.
4. Drive and deliver miscellaneous products as requested.
5. Stock and move warehouse products and materials.
6. Support both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
7. Maintain the facility, equipment, and company image.
8. Help achieve goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
9. Provide excellent customer service.
10. Collaborate with the location manager on safety and compliance issues.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Adhere to GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Demonstrate the FS Way Standards: Trust, Responsiveness, Excellence, Expertise, and Solution Focused.
• May be required to drive and run local errands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Essential skills including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Willingness to obtain forklift certification and CDL.
• Work conditions may include extreme weather, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and working at heights.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to participate in required training related to policies and safety procedures.
