Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a hands-on maintenance helper for our asphalt operations in the United States. You will perform general plant cleaning, light to heavy mechanical maintenance, and assist in ongoing equipment upkeep to keep production steady.

The role requires the ability to work 8- and 12-hour shifts, including weekends as needed, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. High school diploma is required; outdoor work and physical tasks are commonplace.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide general plant clean-up

What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
