Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America in Malvern, PA is seeking a maintenance-focused team member. You will support general plant upkeep, perform mechanical maintenance, and help keep production running safely outdoors.

The role requires the ability to work 8- or 12-hour shifts, including weekends. A high school diploma is required, as is a commitment to safety and teamwork. The company offers union benefits and paid time off.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide general plant clean-up
• Light to heavy mechanical maintenance to ensure constant production
• Assist in plant maintenance when needed
• Upkeep of plant and heavy equipment (broom & shovel work)
• Maintain daily plant/heavy equipment operations
• Operate plant equipment
• Cross Trained in other jobs

What Are We Looking For

• Ability to work both 8 and 12 hour work shifts as well as weekend work when required
• High School Diploma is required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Capability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
• Competency in performing physical tasks and working outdoors.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
