Summary

This position involves physical labor at construction sites and assisting other workers. Tasks include operating hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, setting braces, erecting scaffolding, and cleaning up waste materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools and distribute them appropriately
• Control traffic near work zones with provided training
• Signal equipment operators for machinery and material movement with training
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth using tools
• Enter trenches or confined spaces after proper training
• Understand and comply with safety protocols as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor
