At Lambert's Cable Splicing, as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

What you’ll do as a Laborer

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Communicate clearly with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration efforts
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Drive in CDL capacity
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• Valid state-issued Driver's License (Class A CDL preferred)
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Previous experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and confined spaces, operate vehicles and heavy machinery, use arms above shoulder level, squeeze, perform fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift over 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladders, keyboard, and mouse
