At Lambert's Cable Splicing, as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you'll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

What you'll do as a Laborer

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Communicate clearly with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration efforts
• Work in all weather conditions
• Drive in CDL capacity
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll need

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
• You have a valid state-issued Driver's License (Class A CDL preferred)
• You have a High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and confined spaces, operate vehicles and heavy machinery, perform fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift over 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
