Job description

As a Laborer / CDL Driver at TMI Services, you are the backbone of our operations. You will be responsible for the precise application of thermoplastic and advanced paints on high-scale infrastructure projects.

Functional English required for safety protocols

Key Responsibilities

Inspecting your truck before and after trips. Maintain and submit daily logbooks and DVIRS (daily vehicle inspection reports), and vehicle maintenance reports indicating the vehicle’s condition

Know and follow all company safety policies and procedures and report all unsafe conditions immediately to the Safety Director, and Field Manager.

Perform tasks as designated by the foreperson even if not specifically described in this job description.

Correctly fastening chains and binders to safely secure truck loads during transit.

Safely loading and unloading or assisting in loading and unloading the truck and/or trailer.

Servicing/fueling the truck with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid, and checking and maintaining all other fluid levels.

Driving safely while applying knowledge of all driving and/or commercial driving regulations while transporting all materials, and equipment to the job site, and operating all mechanical equipment such as loaders, forks, etc.

Operating arrow boards, message boards, and other traffic control devices such as safety cones, flags, etc.

Performing general physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs as well as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

Position consists of assisting in all day-to-day operations to accomplish pavement marking-related work as required.

Operate a variety of equipment in the installation and maintenance of traffic control markings, including paint trucks, thermoplastic applicators, paint stripers, and obliteration equipment.

Layout, stripe and install pavement markings

Fill all water coolers with ice and water daily.

Clean and sweep all work areas as required.

Candidate Requirements

Valid Driver's License (CDL Preferred) with clean record.

Ability to work night-shift.

Physical capability to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor environments.

Strict adherence to drug-free workplace policy.

Must Maintain a DOT Physical

Must be 21 years old or older
