Job Brief:

Operate skid steer and assist blasters and operators in the loading of blast holes. Preparation of explosive products for the customer.

What You’ll Do:

Operate skid steer and assist blasters and operators in the loading of blast holes. Preparation of explosive products for the customer.

• Assist Equipment Operators and Blasters at the blast site in order to safely serve the customer.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in the shop, while operating equipment, and while on blast sites to protect personal safety and the safety of others.
• Maintain safe working conditions on and near the blast site.
• Report all incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors.
• Comply with Loss Control Board mandates in support of the implementation of all policies improving the quality of blasting services and limiting liability exposure related to the blast event.
• Proactively support Safety programs by participating in training and safety meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good work habits. Prior manual labor experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and to communicate in writing and verbally.
• Present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
