Job summary

Interstate Waste Services is hiring a Laborer at the Amsterdam Transfer Station in OH. The role offers a stable, full-time schedule with outdoors work, teamwork, and growth opportunities.

You will perform general labor, direct trucks, set up traffic control, communicate via radios, fuel and clean vehicles, and assist with landfill coverings, following safety procedures. Applicants must be 18+, able to lift 50+ pounds, and English-speaking; drivers license preferred; prior outdoor or labor

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• General labor, construction, landscaping, or outdoor work experience preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Equipment operation experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties including shoveling, lifting, pulling, and site cleanup
• Direct trucks and equipment safely throughout the facility
