Job summary

Textron is seeking a Laborer for the 1st Shift to perform laboring duties that involve heavy material and demanding conditions. You will load and unload heavy material from freight cars and trucks, open crates, and carry heavy loads in a foundry setting. ITAR requirements apply; U.S. persons only. The position is Full-time with a standard schedule featuring First Shift. Prior experience with heavy material handling is preferred.

• Three (3) months of related labor experience.
• U.S. person required under ITAR/EAR (ITAR/EAR eligibility).

Description

• Performs laboring duties the majority of which involve working with heavy material or under conditions where above average strength is required, or where extremely disagreeable conditions are involved.

• Typical duties are loading and unloading heavy material from freight cars, trucks, opening crates, and carrying heavy material in foundry, digging and excavating, etc.

Qualifications

Tools & Equipment Used:

• Various hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, nail pullers, pinch bars, hammers, brushes, shovels, hand trucks, dollies and pry pole, etc.

Experience & Other Requirements:

• Three (3) months of related experience.
