Job summary

Summerset Marine Construction in Brussels, WI is seeking a Laborer to support pier and boat lift installation and maintenance along the waterfront. This full-time role requires manual labor, basic carpentry, and an eye for safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; clean MVR.
• Previous experience in marine or construction environment is advantageous.
• Ability to swim and comfort working on or near water.
• Familiarity with hand tools, basic carpentry, and machinery.
• CPR and first aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
• Assist with the installation and removal of piers, boat lifts, and related waterfront structures.
• Load, unload, and distribute construction materials using heavy machinery and manual labor.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tools and equipment.

About the role

This role involves installing and removing piers, boat lifts, and accessories from shore and water using hand tools and machinery. This role is essential to the construction, maintenance, and repair of marine structures. The work involves performing labor-intensive tasks while prioritizing safety and the ability to work effectively in diverse weather conditions and challenging environments.

What you'll do
