Job summary

Your Role

As a Laborer, you'll support the successful completion of construction projects by assisting with site preparation, material handling, jobsite safety, and general construction activities.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
  • Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist with setting up and dismantling ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
  • Lift, carry, and position construction materials and supplies as directed.
  • Assist with traffic control and other site logistics, as needed.
  • Support skilled trades and project teams with general labor tasks.
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.

Experience, Education & Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Current member of the Laborers Union.
  • OSHA 10 certification

  • Experience working around heavy equipment and performing grade checking is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage daily work assignments.
  • Work is performed primarily on active construction jobsites in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods.
  • Safely climb ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated work surfaces.Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
  • Must have sufficient vision and hearing to safely perform essential job duties.
