Job summary

Charles Sargent Irrigation is seeking a reliable General Laborer for our Broken Bow, NE operation. The role supports pump setters, drilling rigs, and test holes, and may operate front end loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, tractors and trucks.

You will assist with equipment installations, loading, maintenance, field paperwork, and maintain a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-minded, and able to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and pass MVR/Drug Screen.
• Able to lift 25–50 pounds rarely and 10–20 pounds frequently; stand, walk, lift, bend, reach, and climb as needed.

The general laborer will take on many rolls. They may be helping on the pump setter, drilling rig, and test hole rigs. They could be required to operate front end loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, tractors, straight trucks, tractor trailers and/or pickup trucks. The general laborer will help where is needed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with removal and installation of vertical turbine pumps.
• Assisting with drilling operation
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials from trucks
• General maintenance of equipment
• General field paperwork
• Communicating constantly within team and with other teams to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Safely operating equipment
• Staying current with all required trainings and SOP's.
• Meeting punctuality and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

• Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, pass MVR and Drug Screen
• Exerting 25-50 pounds of force rarely; 10-20 pounds frequently. Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, stairs, reaching/handling/grasping occasionally; kneeling/crouching rarely.
