Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as sweeping work areas and cleaning bathrooms.

• Handle batteries, including palletizing, shrink wrapping, and moving them.

• Assemble Gaylord boxes as needed.

• Assist in vehicle drainage, particularly with the introduction to SEDA.

• Support yard operations by moving recycled materials and assisting customers with drop-offs.

Skills

• Ability to perform general labor in an outdoor environment.

• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. in a team lift.

• Willingness to perform various general job functions, including cleaning, moving materials, and assisting workers.

• Strong awareness of safety procedures and surroundings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with working on cars, either professionally or as a hobby, is a plus.

• Ability to operate a forklift is desirable.

• Customer interaction skills are essential.

Work Environment

The work environment is predominantly outside, with tasks carried out in all weather conditions. The team comprises five members, and necessary safety gear such as hard hats, gloves, safety goggles, and vests are provided. Employees must wear steel toe boots, long sleeve shirts without strings, and long work pants without holes. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, extending to 4:30 PM on the last day of the month, and Saturdays from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
