Job summary

H2O Innovation in Long Beach, MS is seeking a Skilled Laborer to join our public works team. You will assist with asphalt repairs, storm drain and water/sewer main work, and perform concrete tasks as needed.

Candidates must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, pass drug and background checks, follow safety rules, and show a willingness to learn and work with the crew.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background and motor vehicle record checks.
• Knowledge of operating characteristics of assigned equipment.
• Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions.
• Must be willing to learn all assigned tasks and have good work ethics.
• Motivation to learn equipment operations for promotional opportunities.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including H 2 O’s department rules, policies and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel and supervisors.
• Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
