Job summary

CCI Industrial Services is seeking a dependable grounds maintenance employee focused on safety and reliable site upkeep. You will operate mowers, trimmers and related equipment, perform mowing, edging and debris removal, and support coal-yard housekeeping as needed.

The role requires good physical fitness and a diligent safety mindset. You will actively participate in JSA reviews, report unsafe conditions promptly, and help ensure compliance with permitting, ASH standards and company safety

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general grounds maintenance and landscaping.
• Knowledge of safe operation of mowing and trimming equipment.
• Knowledge of coal-handling and material-handling operations.
• Knowledge of coal-yard housekeeping and debris removal.
• Awareness of safety around conveyors, crushers and hoppers.
• Ability to operate grounds-maintenance tools safely.
• Ability to perform mowing, edging and debris removal.
• Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and report them promptly.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of general grounds maintenance and landscaping
• Knowledge of basic operation and safe use of mowers, trimmers, blowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, and other grounds-maintenance equipment, as applicable.
• Knowledge of basic coal-handling and material-handling operations.
• Knowledge of coal-yard housekeeping, including removal of coal buildup, debris, and accumulated material.
• Knowledge of safe practices when working around conveyors, crushers, hoppers, feeders, screens, heavy equipment, and other coal-handling systems.
• Skill in safely operating grounds-maintenance equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to perform mowing, trimming, edging, weed removal, brush clearing, and general grounds maintenance.
• Ability to perform coal-yard cleanup and housekeeping activities using hand tools and appropriate equipment.
• Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and immediately report them or stop work in accordance with site procedures.
