Job Description: Laborer at Ecolab

Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional, and industrial markets, is seeking a Laborer to perform various duties involved with the packaging process for Ecolab products.

Responsibilities:

• Review packaging instructions at the start of line runs; ensure availability of correct materials.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE are followed.
• Operate packaging lines: loading, labeling, filling, capping, coding, sampling, and cleaning.
• Participate in Kaizens, 5S, and other projects.
• Identify waste elimination opportunities.
• Document quality and productivity activities, including weights and tests.
• Assist with line changeovers, including water collection.

Position Details:

• Location: Joliet, IL
• Shift: 12-hour rotating schedule
• Pay: $19.33/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• No immigration sponsorship available

Physical Demands:

• Must lift/carry 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in related industries (chemical, food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals)
• Ability to track safety, quality, and productivity data
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with TPM & Continuous Improvement
• Attention to detail, good communication, team-oriented
• Ability to meet physical requirements
