Job summary

Air Mobility Command at Little Rock AFB, AR seeks a laborer to maintain bowling facility lanes and machinery. The role involves cleaning lanes, stock maintenance for spare parts, and periodic preventive maintenance on pinsetter and related equipment.

Responsibilities include cleaning other facility areas, reporting unusual maintenance problems, and performing additional duties as assigned. This is a federal position with a guaranteed minimum of 0 hours and up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans, oils, and polishes the bowling lanes and lane approaches adhering to established standards.
• Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Makes minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment.
• Maintains stock levels and records on spare parts for automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment.
• Advises bowling facility management of unusual maintenance problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

About the position: This position will be assigned to the Little Rock AFB, AR - Strike Zone Bowling Center This position is guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can be scheduled to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Physical Effort: Heavy physical effort required is frequent in lifting and moving objects weighting over 50 pounds, and in using heavy hand tools and operating equipment.
