Job summary

Air Mobility Command Bowling Center at Scott AFB is seeking a flexible position to assist in cleaning, oiling and polishing lanes and to keep the facility tidy and safe.

In this role you will support lane maintenance, basic repairs, and routine preventive tasks on lane machinery, with a guaranteed 0-40 hour week and hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• This position does not allow education substitution.

Responsibilities

• Assists in cleaning, oiling, and polishing the bowling lanes.
• Sweeps, dusts, and cleans other areas of the bowling facility; collects and removes trash; and maintains all areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Hand sands and varnishes minor flaws in lanes until surface can be conditioned.
• Assists in making minor corrective adjustments to bowling lane machinery as necessary, and performs periodic minor preventive maintenance on automatic pinsetter and mechanical equipment.
• Assists in maintaining stock levels.
