Amrize is hiring a Laborer to support production operations at our North American sites. You will use tools and equipment such as shovels, bobcats, and power drills to move materials and assist with daily tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience in construction/mining/manufacturing environments, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to policies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Uses a variety of tools and equipment to support production operations, such as shovels, brooms, bobcats, forklifts, levels, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers and water spraying equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Uses shovels or mechanical equipment to remove excess material from beneath the plant
• Loads and delivers materials.
• Performs light maintenance
• Ensures compliance to all health and safety, environmental, compliance and human resources policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Required Education: High School diploma/GED
• Required Work Experience: Minimum of One year of experience performing similar responsibilities in a construction/mining/manufacturing environment.

Additional Requirements

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
