This job involves performing various duties related to pavement marking with training and oversight provided. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily setup and breakdown of striping operations
• Setting up and taking down traffic control devices (cones, signs, arrow boards, etc.)
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining tools, trucks, and work areas
• Supporting layout, paint application, epoxy application, and thermoplastic/tape installation as directed
• Following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE
• Supporting the foreman and operators to complete the job
• Communicating clearly and respectfully with team members and the public

Working Conditions

• Standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds regularly
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, moving equipment, traffic, fumes, and airborne particles
• Moderate to loud noise levels

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license preferred

Travel

• Ability to work nights, weekends, or long hours depending on project schedule
• Willingness to travel within Ohio

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous construction, roadway, or striping experience
• Familiarity with paint machines, thermoplastic, or tape striping methods
• Experience with traffic control or flagging
• CDL is a plus but not required in the first year
