Job summary

Robinson Fans, Inc. is an established, family-owned manufacturer in the industrial air-moving equipment space. We are seeking a motivated Laborer for our Ellwood City, PA facility to assist in cleaning, material transport, nondestructive testing, and production support.

The role offers growth opportunities with training and cross-training across departments. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a competitive benefits package including quarterly bonuses and a robust 401k match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes and basic shop tools.
• Must be well-organized, multi-task capable and able to adapt to team needs.
• Must take initiative and adapt to changing team needs, wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials.
• Clean welds and prepare materials using grinders, chipping hammers, wire brushes, etc.
• Weigh and segregate scraps and maintain records.
• Cut scrap pieces with a cutting torch as needed.
• Assist in production operations when asked.
• Operate a beveling machine and punch as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our team at our newly expanded facility in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.The Laborer position plays a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for cleaning interior and exterior grounds, performing nondestructive testing, transporting materials, and helping production areas as required. We need an exceptionally well-organized teammate who can effectively multi-task and prioritize while taking the initiative to support the team effectively.

This entry-level position provides candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to advance to other areas and positions. The regular schedule for this position is M-F 6:00am-2:30pm.

What you’ll do

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials to and from production operations or storage areas.
• Use grinders, chipping hammers, wire brushes, etc., to clean welds, remove burrs and flux, etc. Prepare materials for painting.
• Weigh, identify, and segregate scraps and maintain required records.
• Use a cutting torch to cut scrap pieces to size, as necessary.
• Assist in all production operations when requested or assigned.
• Operate a beveling machine and punch when directed.
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring

• Wear protective clothing and respirators (Air filters) when necessary and required by Group Leader/Supervisor
• Must be able to hear safety alarms, climb ladders, wear a respirator, lift to 50lbs, and wear safety boots
