SUNY Niagara is seeking a dedicated and able Laborer to join our Operations team. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance of our college campus, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, and staff.
As a Laborer, you will perform a variety of routine cleaning duties under supervision to prepare buildings, classrooms, and offices for daily operations. Good listening skills and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions are essential. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude and strong customer service skills. Reliable attendance is important as campus activities depend heavily on this position.
The responsibilities of this position involve performing unskilled and semi-skilled manual work. Under direct supervision, the incumbent performs routine work requiring physical strength, endurance, and a willingness to perform heavy work.
This position will provide a steady and consistent 40-hour work week with overtime opportunities.
