Summary/Objective

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the flow of production.

Essential Functions

  • Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company
  • Maintenance of material inventory
  • Movement of raw material through the installation area
  • Assurance of proper parts specifications (size, dimensions, gauge, etc.) for chassis completion
  • Assurance of sufficient part supply at all processing stations
  • Movement of completed parts from the installation area to the shipping area
  • Assistance in repair work as necessary
  • Maintenance of good housekeeping practices

  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve company goals
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to read and process written communication including measurements, directions, instructions, etc.
  • Ability to help production meet goals and deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Operation of appropriate office and hand tools
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver weights over fifty pounds
  • Successful problem-solving skills
  • Professionalism in relationships with supervisors, team members, and customers
  • Ability to work under physically and mentally stressful situations
  • Adaptability and prioritization skills

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities upon hiring.

Physical Demands

This role requires active physical movement including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders, with the ability to lift over 50 pounds. Vision and sensory abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time hourly position, typically Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Manufacturing/industry experience
  • Ability to read basic blueprints
  • Use of hand tools

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
