Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a laborer in commercial construction projects.
• Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools.
• Understand construction terminology.
• Proven commitment to safety.
• Able to work night shifts when needed.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Must be self-motivated and can work well with others.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds.
• Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Minimum age 18+
• Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project logistics, including cleanup, material storage, and water pumping.
• Support project team in construction and installation of safety measures.
• Actively participate in Task Hazard Analysis (THA).
• Work in an organized manner.
• Complete certification courses (spotter, flagger, OSHA 10, fire watch).
• Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, waterpump, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.).
• Assist other trades when necessary.
