Job summary

Delta Constructors, LLC is seeking a laborer to support oilfield operations at our Anchorage, Alaska site. The role involves labor-intensive tasks such as digging trenches, groundwork around drill sites and facilities, and assisting journeymen across disciplines.

You will operate hand and power tools as needed and perform site maintenance and installations. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work 10-hour shifts, with overtime

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Current and valid Driver’s License.
• One (1) year experience working in oilfield as a Laborer or other field position, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides labor and assistance to civil work activities.
• Provides labor and assistance to various discipline journeymen as assigned.
• Performs job site maintenance/clean-up.
• Fire watch duties as assigned to support structural or pipe welding activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

TheLaborerreports directly to the Laborer Foreman and supports oilfield operations through labor-intensive activities to include, but not limited to; digging trenches, general groundwork around drill sites and process facilities, assisting various discipline journeyman with job tasks (scaffold, architectural, insulation, iron worker, etc.) job site maintenance and installation of mechanical apparatus. The incumbent will operate both hand and power tools as needed. Job tasks vary daily.

Schedule

Monday-Friday

• 5 days per week 11.5 hours per day
• 57.5 hours per week

Essential Job Functions

Required Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Basic knowledge and proficiency of hand and power tools used in an industrial oilfield setting
• Basic knowledge of civil, structural, pipefitting and/or other labor crafts
• Knowledge and experience in oilfield operations, preferred
• Ability to use time efficiently to complete projects/assignments on time
• Ability to work minimum 10-hour shift daily
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly in a team environment
• Skilled in maintaining positive attitude in challenging situations
