Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Reference Test Clerk in Holyoke, MA. The role supports laboratory operations with preparation, processing and release of test results. You will troubleshoot specimen issues and assist clients while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The position requires a high school diploma and offers a Monday–Friday 8pm–4:30am schedule with rotating weekends. Prior lab experience is beneficial, and training is provided to help you grow within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent education.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience is preferred.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with specimen related requests or inquiries.
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Holyoke, MA.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8pm-4:30am with rotating weekends

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing

Pay Range

$20.50-$24.25 + Shift Differential

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
