Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or similar STEM discipline.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures implicitly.
• Comfortable standing for long periods in a lab.

Responsibilities

• Operate bench scale equipment and perform lab activities (blending, filtrations, reactions, distillations, analytical testing).
• Assist in assembly, operation, and maintenance of experimental systems at the Ames Technology Center (ATC).
• Support engineers in design, development and commissioning of lab equipment and capabilities.
