Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Crestview Hills laboratory department (Crestview Labs) is seeking a qualified professional to perform routine and complex tests to support patient diagnosis and care. The role requires a chemistry or biology background and relevant licensure, with opportunities to train bench personnel and contribute to quality control.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in related sciences, plus applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science is required.
• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 4 years with an Associate’s degree.
• Any license, certification, or registration required.
• Preferred: Certified MLS or MLT through national certifying agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests under supervision to obtain data for patient care.
• Operate instruments, perform checks, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting per guidelines.
• Maintain strong customer service with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain currency in field through continuing education and mandatory trainings.
