Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics in Centennial, Colorado is hiring a laboratory technician to perform tests across specialties, record results accurately, and maintain calibrated equipment according to SOPs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, meets state licensing where required, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical science, physical science, biological/clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Must meet state-specific licensing requirements where applicable (California, Georgia).
• Knowledge of medical technology principles, chemistry, biology, and bacteriology.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests following prescribed procedures across specialties.
• Calculate and accurately record test results.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and perform checks on laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic analyzer malfunctions and notify management when needed.
• Prepare reagents and media per established procedures.
• Evaluate reagents, media, and calibrators using defined criteria.
• Conduct quality control (QC) on tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products.
• Review QC results and implement corrective actions when required.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with quality systems.

Job Description

• Perform laboratory tests following prescribed procedures across specialties

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or related field) from an accredited institution:
  • Chemical science
  • Physical science
  • Biological/clinical laboratory science
  • Medical technology

Licensing / Certification Requirements (if applicable)

• Must meet state-specific requirements where required:
  • California: Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CDPH)
  • Georgia: Certification via ASCP, AMT, NCA, or AAB

Work Experience & Skills

• No prior transplant testing experience required
• Knowledge of:
  • Medical technology principles, methods, and techniques
  • Chemistry, biology, and bacteriology fundamentals
  • Recent developments in medical technology
• Ability to:
  • Perform tasks according to procedures
  • Make accurate observations and maintain records
• Skilled in using laboratory equipment
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Environmental & Safety Requirements

• Must follow all safety and exposure procedures
• Required to use provided personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must handle hazardous materials safely

Additional Information

Compensation

• $23.50-$26.00 per hour

Schedule

• Sunday- Wednesday (22:00-08:30) or Tuesday-Friday (22:00-08:30)
