Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine tests across specialties, record results accurately, and maintain laboratory equipment. You will follow SOPs, conduct quality control, and uphold safety and documentation standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a lab science field and compliance with state licensing where applicable. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication are essential as you work in a regulated environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological/clinical lab science or medical technology.
• Must meet state-specific licensing requirements where applicable (e.g., CA CLIA/CSL or ASCP certifications).
• Knowledge of medical technology principles, chemistry, biology, and lab safety procedures.

Job Description

• Perform laboratory tests following prescribed procedures across specialties
• Calculate and accurately record test results
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and perform checks on laboratory equipment
• Troubleshoot basic analyzer malfunctions and notify management when needed
• Prepare reagents and media per established procedures
• Evaluate reagents, media, and calibrators using defined criteria
• Conduct quality control (QC) on tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products
• Review QC results and implement corrective actions when requiredFollow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with quality systems
• Support company values, ethics, and leadership principles
• Ensure adherence to quality management system expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or related field) from an accredited institution:
  • Chemical science
  • Physical science
  • Biological/clinical laboratory science
  • Medical technology

Licensing / Certification Requirements (if applicable)

• Must meet state-specific requirements where required:
  • California: Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CDPH)
  • Georgia: Certification via ASCP, AMT, NCA, or AAB

Work Experience & Skills

• No prior transplant testing experience required
• Knowledge of:
  • Medical technology principles, methods, and techniques
  • Chemistry, biology, and bacteriology fundamentals
  • Recent developments in medical technology
• Ability to:
  • Perform tasks according to procedures
  • Make accurate observations and maintain records
• Skilled in using laboratory equipment
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Customer-focused mindset

Environmental & Safety Requirements

• Must follow all safety and exposure procedures
• Required to use provided personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must handle hazardous materials safely
• Refer to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical hazards

Additional Information

Compensation:

• $23.50-26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Thursday-Sunday (22:00-08:30) or Sunday-Wednesday (22:00-08:30)
