Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Bronxville, NY seeks a Laboratory Technologist for the Core Lab night shift. You will perform tests across blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry and microbiology, with on-site responsibilities at our Westchester campus.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Medical Technology, NYS CLT license, and ASCP certification; experience of 2–3 years is preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $10K is offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or equivalent curriculum.
• New York State CLT license from NYSED.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Two–Three years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens across multiple lab areas.
• Perform quality control procedures and document results.
• Follow policies and ensure results are within expected ranges.
• Work on-site at the NYP Westchester campus in Bronxville, NY.

Conduct routine and complex tests on clinical specimens in various areas of the laboratory, including blood bank, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry and microbiology. Perform quality control procedures for all tests as dictated by policy and documents all results; follow-up on out of range results.

This is a Full Time night shift position including rotating weekends and holidays. Location is our NYP Westchester campus in Bronxville, NY
