Job summary

TotalEnergies recrute un technicien de laboratoire au Texas. Vous analyserez des échantillons et reporterez les résultats pour garantir la qualité de la production et veillerez à la saisie rapide des données dans le système LIMS.

Vous effectuerez les calibrations quotidiennes, signaliserez les problèmes d’instrument et conseillerez les opérateurs sur les questions de qualité. Vous soutiendrez les contrôles environnement et respecterez les procédures de sécurité et de conformité.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalence GED.
• Des heures de chimie et de mathématiques conformément aux exigences.
• Expérience en laboratoire appréciée, en particulier avec LIMS et Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyser des échantillons et rapporter les résultats pour maximiser la qualité de la production et assurer une saisie rapide dans le système LIMS.
• Effectuer les calibrations quotidiennes pour garantir le bon fonctionnement des instruments et signaler tout dysfonctionnement.
• Conseiller les techniciens de la zone LC sur les questions de qualité afin de minimiser les produits non conformes.
• Communiquer avec les opérations, LPS et le personnel – maintenir le système de laboratoire opérationnel et préparer les HB pour les essais.
• Lire les listes de contrôle pour déterminer les besoins/ exigences de test et naviguer dans le système de laboratoire.
• Comprendre les tests de processus et attribuer les résultats de tests à la production appropriée.
• Soutenir les échantillonnages/environnement les week-ends et jours fériés.
• Les responsabilités de contrôle des pertes incluent la conformité aux politiques et procédures, inspections et formations requises.

Education

High school graduate or GED equivalency

Sixteen college hours of Chemistry with minimum grade C + 12 hours of math with minimum grade C

Three to five years’ lab experience may be substituted for college requirements

Experience with LIMS and Microsoft Office preferred

Activités

• Analyze samples and report results in an accurate and timely manner to maximize quality production. Check that all test results are entered into the LIMS system in a timely fashion.
• Perform daily calibrations to ensure that instruments are functioning properly. Report any instrument problems to the LC job area Technician or Day Technician.
• Counsel LC job area Technician about any quality issues to minimize production of non-conforming product.
• When working the LC job area, perform communication duties with Operations, LPS, and staffing. Work within the Lab system to keep functionality moving. Compile HB’s for testing.
• Read checklist to determine testing needs/requirements. Complete ability to navigate through Lab system.
• Understanding of process testing, allocate tests results to appropriate production.
• Support Environmental sampling/testing on weekends and holidays.
• Loss control responsibilities include: Understanding, supporting and compliance with all plant policies, procedures and applicable regulations; conducting applicable Loss Control Challenge activities, including inspections and audits as assigned; completion of assigned Loss Control action items; and completion of regulatory and other required training.

Profil du candidat

• High school graduate or GED equivalency.
• Sixteen college hours of Chemistry, with a minimum grade of C, and 12 hours of math with a minimum grade of C. A maximum of six semester hours of biology or physics may be substituted for six hours of the chemistry requirement.
• Three to five years’ lab experience may be substituted for the college requirements.
• Experience with LIMS and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Legally authorized to work indefinitely in the United States.
• Submit to random drug screening/pre-employment negative screening.
