Job summary

SLB in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Technician to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable PSD services. You will perform quality assurance tests, prepare laboratory reports prior to service at the wellsite, and provide advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design.

You will maintain lab equipment, ensure safety training, and participate in service quality meetings and HSE initiatives.

Qualifications

• Prior experience related to the job role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lab deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Develop the competency level required to perform advanced additive selection and fluid design.
• Prepare technical presentations and laboratory reports prior to service delivery at the wellsite.
• Perform quality assurance tests on company products.
• Assist Design/Technical Engineer and Product Champions with technical support as required.
• Perform risk analysis before each task to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
• Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.
