Job summary

The Gowan Co. in Arizona is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support production and quality control. You will perform analyses, tests, and equipment maintenance in a focused lab setting, ensuring samples and retenates meet customer requirements.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree (or equivalent experience), strong analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team while following SOPs and safety procedures. This is a full-time, hourly position with potential shift work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemistry or related technical field, or a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Experience operating laboratory equipment and following SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lab staff to complete tasks on time.
• Perform analyses and physical tests on various samples.
• Ensure samples and retenates meet customer requirements.
• Release products meeting specs and safely dispose of waste.
• Calibrate scales and maintain lab equipment daily.
• Document shift logs and inventory of supplies.
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs; work in a lab setting.
