Job summary

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent; CMA (AAMA) certification preferred; current BLS/CPR; EMR (Medent) experience preferred. Two Buffalo-area clinics; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handles laboratory specimens with appropriate precautions.
• Performs venipuncture and capillary collection for patients of all ages.
• Collects, labels, processes, and prepares specimens per protocols.
• Verifies patient identity using approved procedures.
• Ensures specimens are stored and handled correctly before shipment.
• Processes samples using centrifuges and lab equipment.
• Facilitates lab and diagnostic tests as requested.
• Maintains exam rooms and sanitizes equipment to meet infection control standards.
