Job description

Position requires one weekend day. Shift will be either Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday.

Position Description

Works within the Specialty Reagents In-Vitro Production team to produce antibody raw material.

Responsibilities include preparation of nutrient supplements, equipment set up, autoclave operation, and operating equipment needed to harvest and purify antibody material.

Responsible for monitoring and controlling processes while maintaining accurate quality records.

Working understanding of Windows environment and related software.

Work in a controlled environment and complete tasks aseptically to prevent microbial contamination.

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with the following and wish to develop your career:

  • Set up equipment parameters for production using worksheets and/or SOP specifications or procedures.
  • Good PC skills (MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn about new software and hardware solutions related to our latest technology.
  • Assist technical support in identifying problems, making recommendations, and implementing solutions.
  • Accountable for completing and maintaining proper documentation of worksheets and other quality documents.
  • Check SAP for approval of raw materials.

Required skills for success in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in aseptic techniques.
