Job summary

Evergreen Health is hiring a Laboratory Technician (Float) to join our Buffalo-area clinics. You will perform venipuncture, handle specimens, and support patient-centered care across multiple sites. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, CMA(AAMA) preferred, and current BLS/CPR certification.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule, a float across four Buffalo clinics, and benefits including health coverage, dental/vision, PTO, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA(AAMA) certification preferred; BLS/CPR certification required.
• Prior healthcare and EMR (Medent) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle laboratory specimens and blood/body fluid precautions.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection.
• Process and label specimens according to protocols; verify patient identity.
• Store and ship specimens properly; operate centrifuges and lab equipment as needed.
• Aid in lab tests and maintain infection control standards across clinics.
