• Requires a B.S. in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or Chemistry.
• Experience with animal husbandry and genotyping is required.
• Willingness to handle blood cells from human and animal and perform blood draws as needed.
• Strong teamwork, and excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee animal husbandry for lab colonies and maintain mouse colonies and inventories.
• Perform basic biochemistry and physiology experiments and assist with analyses (flow cytometry, Western blot, etc.).
• Breed mice, genotype, and handle transgenic/knock-out lines; collect data for databases.
• Assist in reporting human data to IRB and consent subjects for blood draws for studies.
