Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) seeks a Laboratory Technician I to be based in Aiken, SC, on the Savannah River Site. The role involves training, basic sampling and analysis of radioactive samples, and working under supervision to perform routine lab functions.

The ideal candidate will complete required training, adhere to safety and radiological controls, operate lab equipment for organic, inorganic, wet chemistry and radiochemistry analyses, and support administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• All three ACT WorkKeys tests must be uploaded to the online application.
• All three WIN Ready to Work tests must be uploaded to the online application.
• Obtain qualifications designated by the Laboratory Manager within twelve months.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine lab sampling and analyses per procedures.
• Operate and calibrate lab equipment for chemical and radiochemical analyses.
• Complete training and safety requirements as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and document results in records.
• Support administrative tasks and data entry as needed.
