Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or BA in life or physical science preferred; AA/AS with MLT license acceptable
• 1+ year experience as Laboratory Technician or Technician Assistant preferred
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Receives, organizes and processes clinical specimens accurately
• Prepares data, printouts, and documents for review by licensed technologists
• Operates automated equipment per SOP
• Prepares reagents and controls and maintains records
• Maintains clean, functional lab; supports maintenance of equipment
• Assists in validation documentation for new tests and procedures
• Attends meetings and trainings to enhance testing knowledge
