Job summary

Neogen in Lincoln, NE is hiring a Laboratory Technician I to perform laboratory activities within stages of the sample processing workflow, including sample preparation, DNA extraction, sequencing or amplification, and downstream processing, in line with SOPs.

You will handle high-throughput batch- or plate-based processing, operate automated equipment, maintain accurate records in LIMS, and uphold ISO and safety standards while meeting production timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a life sciences field preferred.
• 0–1 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with molecular biology techniques and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory activities within sample processing workflow stages.
• Execute batch- or plate-based sample processing to meet production goals.
• Handle and process biological samples following SOPs.
• Operate laboratory equipment per SOPs and quality standards.
